I am never at a loss for things to say about myself, but I do wonder what other people would want to know. As to the basics, I am a 32 year-old, Canadian female. I live in Calgary, AB, with my wife amigone, three roommates, and an assortment of animals that currently includes far too many cats, a dog and a guinea pig.
Like a great many people my interests vary depending on what has caught my attention recently. Right now, when I am not playing Plants vs. Zombies I am usually busy with NaNoWriMo related things, as I am a co-ML for the Calgary region.
Now that I am comfortably in my 30s, I find myself at long last less concerned with what society chooses to label me, or what other people think. I am disabled, but I have finally learned it is not my job to make others comfortable with that, only to help educate them so they can choose to understand and be comfortable, or not. In my world, you don't have the right to bitch about stereotypes, discrimination or ignorance unless you work to do something about them, so I choose to do so.
I am married to a woman, but don't identify as a lesbian, in the strictest sense of the word. My marriage is just that, mine. It is unconventional, but it works for me. I have no problem thinking outside the box, because I have never really fit into any one neat, little box, but I finally see that for the blessing it is. I have the support of a group of loving friends and family members who know exactly how crazy I am, but love me anyway.
Still wondering about the many questions I haven't answered here? Comment to a public post and ask.
